Fee assistance

Who we are? We are Family Outreach Workers with House of Friendship, funded by the Region of Waterloo. We extend support to low-income families who have children under 18.

What we do? Our program links families to resources relating to education/employment, recreation, food, clothing, shelter, counselling, transportation, and child care/children’s needs. We also offer practical resources and subsidy/cost sharing for certain basic needs.

When we operate? Outreach workers are available certain days in your community. This program is offered Monday through Friday. Hours may vary.

Why do we do this? The goal of the Family Outreach Program is to help low-Income families to access the services they need in their community. We aim to prevent and reduce childhood poverty in the region.
